“Simon and colleague arrived on time. Got down to work very quickly. They cut down my 60 foot tree with no problem and managed to lower the pieces of trunk safely and accurately on my small lawn without damaging anything around. They cleaned up after them leaving me nothing to do. All done in 2 hours. The quote was extremely reasonable and i wouldnt hesitate to use this company again. Highly efficient and qualified.”
Tree pruning reduces the overall size of a tree by around 10-30% in order to re-balance the tree. This makes the tree more manageable, improves its appearance and increases the amount of light in the trees immediate area.
This is effective for a number of reasons… Reduces a trees weight to make it safer, helps to produce more flower/fruit and increases light and air through the crown.
The removal of dead/dangerous wood to make trees safer.
Removing defects, dead wood, foreign objects and diseased branches.
Heavily reducing the top and side branches of a tree to encourage dense new growth.
To smooth, shape, reduce and refine hedges.
The cutting down of trees using 3 cuts. This can only be executed when there is adequate space for the tree to fall in 1 piece.
Using a stump grinder, this involves boring out a stump to a depth of 15-30cm below ground level. This kills roots and prevents future growth.
Clearing a site from obstructions like brambles, weeds and stinging nettles to provide a more manageable area.
